Rhodes College is a private, coeducational liberal arts college located in Memphis, Tennessee. As with previous responses, please note that my knowledge is current up to September 2021, and some information may have changed since then.

1. History: Rhodes College was founded in 1848 as the Masonic University of Tennessee, and it later became the Montgomery Masonic College in 1850. In 1855, the institution was renamed Stewart College, and in 1870, it was reorganized and became Southwestern Presbyterian University. In 1945, the name changed again to Southwestern at Memphis, and finally, in 1984, it adopted its current name, Rhodes College, in honor of former college president Dr. Peyton Nalle Rhodes.

2. Campus: Rhodes College's campus covers approximately 100 acres in the heart of Memphis, Tennessee. The campus is renowned for its Collegiate Gothic architecture and picturesque setting, featuring academic buildings, residence halls, and recreational facilities. The campus is often recognized for its beauty and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
